From the Desk of the Heritage Coordinator

As the Archivist with the Wheaton Franciscans, I want to share with you some of my favorite stories and discoveries.  This section includes an inside look at the Wheaton Franciscan Archives.  Included are a few short articles about some of the interesting discoveries in the Archives, as well as aspects of teh Wheaton Franciscans' rich and diverse history.

Influenced by Charism is an article written by S. Alana Gorski, OSF and Jeanne Guilfoyle, in the spring newsletter of Archivists for Congregations of Religious Women,  ACWR News, April 2013 Vol. 24.

A Look at Relics is an article about a new archivist's (and convert to Catholicism) close encounter with Relics.

Feeding those in Need: A Franciscan Tradition explores the Wheaton Franciscan community's tradition of mission to the poor.

Finding Treasures  is a sampling of stories waiting to be discovered in the archive boxes.

New Find!  Tells the story of the discovery of zinc cuts tucked away in a dark dusty closet.  The closet was an archivist's nightmare.  The new find was a treasure to behold.
